Reiki, pronounced RAY-kee, means Universal Life Energy.    The system of Reiki was founded in Japan by Mikao Usui (1865-1926).  It is a holistic method of working with energy to bring balance and healing.   Since it is energy, it can be transmitted though the hands or sent any distance.

Reiki is ideal for animals because

        it is gentle and non-invasive, yet powerful.

          it heals on all levels: physical, emotional, and spiritual.

        it goes directly to the source of the problem whether it is known or not.

           it  complements and supports all other healing systems, including veterinary care.

           treatments are deeply relaxing and bring a sense of contentment.

           it can do no harm and works only for the highest good.

Ellen works in partnership with each animal to access their own healing.  She follows the Animal Reiki Code of Ethics developed by Kathleen Prasad. 

Ellen is a Level lll Reiki Master Teacher with over 10 years experience.
